Aww, this is sad. Gidget, the famous chihuahua that is in Taco Bell commericals died at the age of 15. I always remembered this commerical. It was funny seeing a dog speak spanish. And to be honest, this is the reason why I have a little spanish phrase under my sleeve. I would be like, "I speak spanish..Yo Quiero Taco Bell". Haha. I want Taco Bell!
Karen McElhatton, Gidget's owner, tells Usmagazine.com the dog was with her trainer, Sue Chipperton, watching television when she began making "strange noises" and suffered a stroke. Before the dog's death, "She had a good day and was running around as normal," McElhatton tells Usmagazine.com. "We're happy that she was very well off right until the end."
At least, we all know that cutie pie Gidget lived like a Queen when she was alive. I'm sure she was making way more money than I have been at all my part time job combined. Haha. Not only was Gidget in Taco Bell commerical but Gidget was also in Legally Blonde playing Reese Witherspoon's dog. It would be hard for Taco Bell to replace like dog like Gidget. It would be weird for me personally, for another dog to be saying, "Yo Quiero Taco Bell".
