couples retreat.


Yesterday i went to watch couple retreat and i have to say i thought it was going to be alot funnier.. personally i think it was a comedy for adults because..they they seemed to be the only one laughing.

don't get me wrong the movie did have its parts but like i said i thought it was going to be better.. my personal opinion, so watch and see for yourself.

The relationship comedy "Couples Retreat" booked the top berth at the box office with a $34.3 million debut, while the low-budget horror sensation "Paranormal Activity" broke into the top-10 with $7.9 million.

"Paranormal Activity" finished at No. 4 in its first weekend of daylong release after two weeks of midnight screenings. The movie's weekend haul was $800,000 higher than distributor Paramount had estimated Sunday.

The top 20 movies at U.S. and Canadian theaters Friday through Sunday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release, as compiled Monday by Hollywood.com are:

1. "Couples Retreat," Universal, $34,286,740, 3,000 locations, $11,429 average, $34,286,740, one week.

2. "Zombieland," Sony, $14,802,431, 3,038 locations, $4,872 average, $47,603,512, two weeks.

3. "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs," Sony, $11,527,480, 2,992 locations, $3,853 average, $95,778,436, four weeks.

4. "Paranormal Activity," Paramount, $7,900,695, 160 locations, $49,379 average, $9,113,936, three weeks.
