GOSSIP GOSSIP GOSSIP

Could Jennifer and John Mayer light the flame? We all have to admit she's pretty lucky from moving to Brad Pitt to John Mayer! Even after a good heartbreak after Pitt, she and John Mayer have been getting more rumors than ever.. right? I don't they do enough on Jennifer after the break up. Now it's all about Jolie and Brad. haha it's sad but true. If you really thinkg about it.. when do you really know that a celeb couple is really together? Hard to say, but I think that they could be getting back together.. but who knows.. anything is a possiblity!
"They looked like they were having a fantastic time," says one observer of the Saturday night dinner. A source close to John adds, "They were hanging out this weekend."

Aniston, 39, in New York on business, dined with Mayer, 30, on oysters, ravioli with mushrooms and black truffles and fish. The actress returned to Los Angeles on Monday.

Even though his summer romance with Aniston is now a thing of the past, Mayer, according to a friend, is "someone who is known for staying connected to people he cares about and for staying friends with people he's been linked to."

Not everyone remains convinced a re-match might be a good thing. Says one pal: "If they are back together, Jen is not bragging about it to her friends."

Ford Keeps his Indy Title

Remember all those rumors that Shia LaBeouf might end up taking over from Harrison Ford as the new Indiana Jones? Ford put a nail in the notion of that coffin in an interview, and there is no way is he giving up his hat to a kid.

Ford says that not only are there no plans to transition the franchise to Shia in the future and, “that's never been [the idea]. As George has famously said, we'd have to call it 'Mutt Jones: The Search for Elvis.' [Laughs.] I think it just doesn't work that way.”

Indiana Jones is a classic adventure. It has been out for the longest time, and with Shia LaBeouf in it now, it does add a little spice. The old and new adventures are anticipated by the public and loved by the viewers. However, it does not mean it should be changed to ruling out the man and star of movie.

Unfortunately, that probably does not mean the franchise won’t still go on, just with more of the aching, creaking, increasingly CGI’s Harrison Ford in his traditional role. Given the choice between Mutt Jones and the Search for Elvis or Indiana Jones and the Colostomy Bag of Doom, we might all have been better off if they’d gone with Mutt Jones. At least Mutt does not wear comfortable, sensible, static-free grandpa pants.

Angelina Beats Down the Rumors

Lately, if you picked up a mag, ANY MAGAZINE (particularly the tabloids), you would see blasted across the front page on how Angelina Jolie is going through depression and how she is so stressed and how she is just so overwhelmed. Well Angelina has gone on the record to smash those rumors to the ground. In an exclusive, new interview with Hello! magazine, Angelina Jolie firmly denies rumors that she is overwhelmed with the kiddies or that her relationship with Brad is in the pits.

Angelina says that she and her family don't pay much attention to rumors, because their lives are full of rainbows and puppies and bake sales and unicorns and lots and lots of money. "We have fun, we have each other, and we have a lot of love in our life," says Jolly Jolie. "And anybody who has love in their life has something that is much more important than anything else" - even those nasty rumors. And what about the 3-month-old twins? Angelina says, "They're good babies, and pretty much on schedule. They pretty much eat every three hours, so I've arranged breaks in my day around that." Of course Her Royal Perfection would have perfect, punctual children.
She talks about how she loves to watch the twins interact, and adds, "You reach a point where you almost think that to have one baby alone would be kind of lonely."

Like all other parents, the family struggles to balance work, play, and the kids, saying that when they go out - which is no small affair - they find it easier to hang with other parents because other parents are "more respectful of our privacy than many people because they understand what it's like just to want to be with your kids. Parents are much kinder to us than some other members of the public." But of course, people still want to take pictures, and when the kids ask why, Brad and Ange tell them it's because of their parents' particular profession. Which Angie says she is ready to get back to, after a year long hiatus. Ever the perfect "best friend," Brad supports Angelina all the way, reminding her that her work is an integral part of her. No wonder she calls him one of her "favorite people."

Hilton-Rihanna '08

The best satire in this year's elections probably would have to be Paris Hilton. I don't know if you saw her commercial on funnordie.com, but it featured her in her swimsuit by the pool while she propsed her energy plan. Afterwards, she went off air saying that she had to be on her way to pick up her VP pick, Rihanna. I thought that that was funny, but it also saddened me a little bit. It saddened me because Paris Hilton kinda made some sense in that commerical, a feat which honestly...is almost a statistical impossibility. You know that democracy is in shambles when Paris Hilton is making just about much sense (or even more) as two high ranking government officials. Nothing against Paris Hilton or any other celebrity. But I think she is a satire for our current political candidates. The two major contenders sound a lot like celebrities, whose proposals may have some sense but are full of generalities. If anything else, I expect both McCain and Obama to deal with the specifics and come up with more sophisticated arguments. If this year's elections is all gonna be about posturing again (as the candidates are making it to be), then maybe the WHite House really would be no worse than if Paris and Rihanna were in it.

Angelina's good words for Obama

Angelina Jolie has said recently in the vanity Fair that she has not yet decided who to vote for this year, but that Democratic nominee Barack Obama seems to align with her views. The actress said that she finds Obama's stances regarding intervention in cases of genocide and closing Guantanamo Bay as favorable. Jolie also added that "Barack Obama would be nice for [her] family.(AP)" and that the Illinois Senator happens to agree with her on some issues. This non-endorsement praise by Angelina Jolie probably won't send the McCain campaign campaign packing, but it does prove that Obama has really taken the country by storm. Is that enough reason to elect him? Well, I leave that up to you. My political beliefs need not be exposed here. All I hope is tha people won't vote for anyone based on personality and media-savvy. Both McCain and Obama have something going for them in terms of character and charisma, but the whole election boils down to whether any of them has the right solutions for the country. And just like Ms. Jolie, I've yet to give my support to either Obama or McCain. And I will remain undecided until either of them set aside political rhetoric and actually propose solid solutions.

Britney Spears' New Perfume

Britney Spears has done it again! Her new perfume will be hitting the stores on January 2009. The scent as described in a press release as being "all about expressing the many, mysterious sides of a woman." Which sounds beautiful, sophisticating and pretty exciting.

Will this be a success? Well her original perfume, Curious, earned $100 million in sales in the five weeks after its 2004 release. But now with her reputation sliding, it might not do as well. However, in television ad, Spears, will appear through trees in a forest and ask, "What do you have to hide?" So this may be a great booster for Britney.

Britney is entering the industry again with a strong and with a positive outlook. The singer has been hard at work on her next album, Circus, which will be available on December 2.

Movies to Watch!

Staying home this weekend? Well, we have the perfect movies you have to watch. So such grab you popcorn and cuddle up next to your television and enjoy!

CITY OF EMBER
Even though this movie was based on a best-selling young-adult novel, it's surprisingly dark. Literally. The film is about an underground city, aptly called Ember, and its failing power source, which threatens to throw the town into complete darkness.

BODY OF LIES
Ridley Scott directed this film about a talented undercover CIA agent who grows disaffected with American foreign policy. The film features plenty of plot twists, way cool explosions, and Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe getting in each other's faces.

THE EXPRESS
This true life sports drama tackles the story of Syracuse University star football player Ernie Davis, the first African-American to win the coveted Heisman trophy.

QUARANTINE
If you liked the diseased crazies of "28 Days Later" and the nausea-inducing camera work of "Cloverfield," you'll probably dig "Quarantine." Based on Spanish horror film "REC", the movie is about a luckless camera crew looking to shoot a human-interest piece on firefighters who winds up sealed in a site infected with rabid maniacs.
